I toured the LBJ Ranch for several hours this afternoon. I've managed to visit a number of sixties historical spots over the years, including famous hotels (Ambassador and Biltmore in LA; Hilton and the Blackstone in Chicago) and other landmarks.

Back on the computing track: I'm finishing up Everything is Miscellaneous, and the author's argument on page 171 really states the key point: when metadata and content are all digital, content from multiple sources can be integrated in truly revolutionary ways. Key enabling tools then become a strategic vision, project management expertise, and programming/technical expertise.
