Today, I worked with my coder colleagues to implement a major upgrade of the NWDA search site. Here's the new look. The results screen information has been condensed, based upon usability testing results. Finding aid documents load much more efficiently in comparison to the project stylesheet used for the past several years. This is important because of the large size of a number of NWDA database documents. It also has an attractive expand/collapse functionality.
Here's a great example, including the new stylesheet and enhanced find within the finding aid. Plus, the finding aid links to digital objects; I expect that this (links from finding aids to digital objects) will be an important development direction for NWDA content in the future.
