This morning, I'm attending a Northwest Digital Archives planning meeting at Lewis and Clark College. We are preparing to discuss budget scenarios for the upcoming fiscal year. (I am watching this as a spectator, in that I'm here for the digital program planning only; I don't serve on the consortium's Executive Committee.) In some respects, this is the most difficult part of program sustainability, ensuring that the financial burden is spread across consortium members in an equitable way. There are a lot of variables to take into consideration.
