Google SMS web snippets searching

I am a heavy user of Google SMS searching. Today, I discovered the web snippets feature for the first time and I'm generally pleased with the results. Some example searches that I tried (can be searched from this URL or by text messaging the query to 46645):

g washington state university
g wsu research exchange
g dspace
g mythical man-month
g alvin radkowsky
g washington state university libraries

A common lesson: the first two screens typically produce the most useful information; screens 3-5 typically produce the least relevant information.

I wonder if some point, the subject/people searches will be fleshed out enough to enable students to complete short assignments using SMS?
