pm session on Innovative technologies

This afternoon, I'm attending a session on Innovative Interfaces e-resource technologies and products. Ted Fons of Innovative is presenting. The WSU Libs WebOPAC implementation was shown in one slide, with a "Report problems" link available to users in an e-resource record. Fons continued by describing CASE (Content Access Service), a service for e-journal access data. One advantage of CASE is its tight integration with Millennium (in, for example, loading MARC record data for e-resource records. It was good to see the WSU leadership role with ERM; Ted quoted my colleague Janet Chisman in one slide, who described the cumbersome methods used to compile e-resource information.
