Robert Cringely, who's delivering the conference keynote, just summarized the IPhone's capabilities, noting the importance of the device as a development platform and of empowering developers to build and deploy unforeseen applications. I don't know how many of the attendees felt a sense of irony with that assesment. It's the one area in which Innovative libraries need the most help.
